We accept all forms of payment


Access to all Birth Certificates in the State of Ohio.

Birth and death records prior to 1909 can be found at the Hardin County Probate Court 419-674-2230 located in the Courthouse or you can check with the Hardin County Geneology Society at 419-674-4088 or on thier website:  www.hardincountyconnections.com

We offer prompt service during regular office hours, Monday through Thursday,
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. We close for lunch 12 to 12:30.

DEATH CERTIFICATES - $27.00

You can obtain birth and death records from a city or county vital statistics office where the event occurred.  You can also obtain birth records from any vital statistics office regardless of where the birth event occurred.  (Exception: sealed adoption records may only be obtained from the state Office of Vital Statistics in Columbus)  Local fees and operating hours vary.  The local service options may be faster, due to the higher volume processed in this state office. Click here to review our statewide directory.    

We take Credit/Debit by phone for payment to process Birth & Death Certificates.

Death Certificates still need to be purchased from the county of Death. 

The cost for a Birth or Death Certificate is $27 each.

BOARD OF HEALTH NOTICE

On July 22nd 2014, the Kenton-Hardin Board of Health voted unanimously to end refunds for all programs associated within the Health Department. As a result, all services that are paid after September 1st 2014 will not be refunded. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this notice, please talk with health department staff.
